Removing caulk in shower?

The silicons at one corner of my shower is all mouldy (pic. 1) so I am planning to reapply the silicon but I notice the silicones applied previously don’t go all around the base. Maybe the silicone has deteriorated and gone. It looks like it’s cracking caulk the rest of the sides (pic. 2). It’s rigid and hard to poke. Should I remove the caulk before applying new silicone or should I remove caulk, re caulk and re silicone. Or should I just apply silicone on top of the old caulk? submitted by /u/Griffith_0127 [link] [comments]
