Renovating stairs
I’d like to refinish these stairs. I’ve pulled up the old carpets and I’m working on removing the pad and tacks trips. There are 2 screws on the each side of each riser that are protruding. If I pull the screws out they are about 2-3” long. I’m not able to drill them in any further, but I don’t want protruding screws on the stairs.
