Roof/ceiling leak?
Hello all, recently experienced rain last week and noticed dripping from outside awning/roof covering over front door porch/entry space. Today, I checked the ceiling and noticed water damage to paint and wood (warping, soft brittle texture compared to rest of area). Before getting a roofer or contractor, I wanted to see what others may recommend to attempt to determine the issue and how to address. I’ve tried my best to circle the areas that are damaged on the pics and included a view of the adjacent wall connected to the side of the ceiling. I took a pic of the roof too to try and get an idea if the slope is leading water towards the damage, but hard to tell on a sunny day with no rain. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
