Floor bulging
Hey y'all, I'm currently working on removing the carpeting from my upstairs and replacing it with a floating floor. Cool thing happened, the bedrooms have flooring under the carpet! Yay saving money! Weird thing, which is why I'm posting, over by the door there's a noticeable bulge (see pictures). Could this be due to not enough expansion spacing by the installers or something more serious that I should address? Also if it's just the expansion should I try to fix it before putting down a floating floor in the rest of the house? Initially I saw it and thought it was the expansion, but it's pretty cold out (59F) and from my inexperience I feel like it's a lot of bulging and was thinking it might be something more serious but from googling around all I could find to explain it is expansion so I figured I'd ask Reddit.
