Sarah Jessica Parker Stuns in Archival Vivienne Westwood at 'And Just Like That' Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker is never one to miss making a statement when it comes to fashion. This is precisely what keeps eyes on the actor who has practically become synonymous with her Sex and the City Carrie Bradshaw character. Such was true Wednesday night in New York City, when Parker made a daring entrance at the Season 3 premiere of And Just Like That (SATC's spinoff), embracing her status as both Bradshaw and a real-life fashion icon. Her outfit not only paid homage to the designer but also seemed to reference one of Carrie Bradshaw's most iconic outfits on the show.

SJP opted for archival Vivienne Westwood frock at the premier: She donned a medieval-inspired and deep azure colored silk gala gown originally purchased for $5,072 from Christie’s sale of Westwood’s personal collection. The dress, with its dramatic draping and corseted bodice, paid homage to Westwood’s pioneering blend of historical references and punk sensibility.

To anyone looking at the gown and finding it familiar: it should. Bradshaw's character was no stranger to Vivienne Westwood looks throughout the show, including for her wedding, where she wore an ivory gown with a bird fascinator. In And Just Like That, Parker re-wears the original gown with a teal cape. Parker's gown Wednesday night has some overlapping design elements to the costume on the show.

Complementing the regal gown, Parker slipped into crystal-studded heels that retail for $650 by Parisian sustainable footwear label Nomasei, a delicate counterpoint to the weighty silk above. The shoes feature sparkling crystal embellishments and a sculptural heel. Her makeup, done by MUA Elaine Offers, channeled a sultry energy thanks to Parker's smokey eyes and bronzed skin, achieved with Merit products.

For Sarah Jessica Parker, premieres are more than promotional obligations; they’re a chance to channel Carrie Bradshaw’s fearless approach to style. Since Sex and the City, her on-screen persona set the bar for New York glamour, and Parker has never shied away from that legacy. With every red-carpet moment, she’s under pressure to deliver a look that feels both fresh and timeless. Wednesday night’s ensemble did just that.
