Sheer and Custom Looks Ruled the Celebrity Red Carpet at Gold House's 4th Annual Gold Gala
Megan Thee Stallion's viral Quine Li gown, sheer and made with lace panels, led the charge.

Gold House hosted its 4th Annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night, bringing together a mix of Asian and Pacific Islanders changemakers, cultural icons, and Hollywood stars. Sometimes dubbed the “Asian Pacific Met Gala," the event honors the year’s most impactful AAPI leaders and advocates across entertainment, fashion, and business, all while celebrating representation and achievement. On the red carpet, guests showed out in a range of traditional garments and those with a more risqué flare.
This year’s celebration was nothing short of glamorous. Grey's Anatomy actor Sandra Oh made a regal return to the carpet in an elegant Kallmeyer Fall/Winter 2025 dress styled by Alicia Lombardini. Former L'OFFICIEL cover star Megan Thee Stallion, who’s long been a vocal supporter of AAPI culture, stunned in a dramatic sheer, sculptural gown by Quine Li. Brenda Song brought sleek sophistication, joined by fellow attendees like Sunisa Lee, Laufey, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Wicked director Jon M. Chu.
Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee received the Gold Legend Honor. Megan won the One House Honor. Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara received the Gold Legend Honor alongside Pikachu. Laufey was bestowed the Billboard Gold Music Honor.
Gold House, a nonprofit collective dedicated to advancing AAPI creatives and businesses, uses the gala as a platform to spotlight their A100 list—an annual recognition of the 100 most influential AAPI figures. From legacy award recipients to rising stars, the evening underscores the power of visibility and the importance of community.
