Spray foam or caulk for small 1/4" hole?
I'm drilling a hole in my wood siding all the way into the house to run a doorbell wire, since my house didn't have originally. I'm planning on drilling 1/4" hole since the wire is only 18awg. To seal up the hole in terms of insulation and sealing, should I fill the hole on both sides with some silicon caulk or get some low expansion spray foam to fill it up, trapping the wire and sealing the hole. submitted by /u/joelovescash [link] [comments]
