Gigi Hadid’s See-Through Raincoat Makes the Perfect Spring Outfit
The Guest in Residence founder donned a perfectly on-trend, butter yellow look that matched a Rabanne perfume bottle.

Gigi Hadid rocked a more functional spin on the sheer trend Thursday night in New York City.
The new Rabanne Global Ambassador arrived at a pop-up event to celebrate the brand's Million Gold For Her fragrance with an ensemble that complemented the bottle. Hadid chose a sleeveless, flowy butter yellow (a top trending color lately) maxi dress, and she topped it off with a see-through PVC raincoat, with the collar turned up and the belt cinching her waist. With the perfume bottle in hand, her vision for the outfit was clear and executed well. The model's golden stiletto boots, lack of jewelry, and minimal makeup kept attention on the transparent outerwear as a focal point of her look.
Like her transparent fashions, Hadid has also been transparent about her personal life, as it is just days after she got candid about her relationship with Bradley Cooper in a Vogue interview. "I respect him so much as a creative," she said. "I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap."
She continued confirming that the relationship was “very romantic and happy,” but that there were aspects that are “not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason.”
Hadid has been promoting Rabanne’s new fragrance for over a month, following the announcement of her partnership with the brand in August 2024. In February, she made an Instagram post promoting the new scent. Musicians Moses Sumney and Troye Sivan also take on key roles at Rabanne, with Sumney serving as a Global Brand Ambassador and Sivan making history as the brand’s first-ever Global Makeup Ambassador.
