Started repairing cracked fiberglass tub and found wet mushy wood.
I noticed a crack in our fiberglass bathtub. When I started drilling holes to repair it, I found wet mushy wood underneath. I tried a couple of places and it was the same each time. There currently is no door in either closet next to the tub to check out what the underside looks like. The tub feels mushy across most of the middle of the bottom. Is there any reason to try cutting in from one of the closets or should I just go strait to ripping out the tub and replacing the wood? Thank you for any advice! submitted by /u/sudocoffee [link] [comments]
