strange question. plastic wood-x vs. sherwin williams wood filler?

i work in kitchen/cabinet remodeling. my company was using plastic wood-x for a long time for filling hardware holes if customer was switching hardware. push wood filler through, sand when dry, layer of bondo on top, sand prime and paint. we’d never had any issues. we recently switched to sherwin williams wood filler, using the same process, and in a bunch of spots we filled the wood fill has pushed through the bondo, chipped off the paint on the front, and left a little mound of woodfill. we have no idea why this happened and google has proven inconclusive as the ingredients for both are more or less the same. has anyone had any similar experiences or any advice moving forward? submitted by /u/mmv_98 [link] [comments]
