Supporting cabinets with concrete ceiling

So I have a gutted walk in closet that I’m going to turn into an office nook. I want to hang some cabinets, but this is a condo with flimsy metal studs. Even worse, two walls in there have showers on the opposite sides. I suppose I could toggle into the dry wall or use IKEA rails but I’m not sure how secure that’ll be. This closet’s ceiling is the concrete slab, no drywall. Can I toss some anchors into the ceiling while also securing it to the wall? I’m not an expert on concrete but it looks like cast in place concrete, not PT. It’s a 3 story building from 1970. There are electrical conduits cast into them in other parts of the condo. The raw parts I’ve seen have triangular grooves like chambered edges. And the drywall ceilings are all anchored into the concrete as well. Am I safe either anchoring them directly or mounting a cleat to ceiling to help support them? submitted by /u/raucousdaucus [link] [comments]
