Extending driveway/ gravel pad next to barn
Me and the wife just recently purchased a home in January, when we looked at the house it was the dry season and now that the winter has passed and the spring is here I’m starting to find out that there are a lot of low spots that love to become swampy (especially around my 30X40 pole barn. I have a gravel driveway and I want to just extend the driveway up to the side of the pole barn, basically making a gravel car port. Now the problem is the pole barn is a new(er) build and you can see that the concrete foundation settled which now the ground is graded towards the barn. As for the construction of this car port should I purchase clay and grade the ground away from the barn before laying the gravel or what should my next step be? submitted by /u/Oh_its_mike69 [link] [comments]
