The Nike Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood" Will Get The Protro Treatment in 2026
Name: Nike Kobe 6 Protro "All-Star 3D Hollywood" (2011 pair pictured)SKU: HM4824-002MSRP: $190 USDRelease Date: 2026Where to Buy: NikeNike will vastly increase its output of Kobe Bryant products over the rest of 2025 and the entirety of 2026, and one of the Mamba's models that's being brought back from the archives is the Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood," which is set to get the Protro treatment in 2026. With a colorway that's almost as much of a mouthful as its decidedly verbose name, the "All-Star 3D Hollywood" was originally released in 2011, meaning its return will serve as a 15th anniversary celebration.Though the "All-Star 3D Hollywood" was created in celebration of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, Kobe didn't actually take to the court in the model, instead wearing the familiar black and red Kobe 6 "All-Star" that matched his Western Conference team's red uniforms for the entirety of his MVP performance. However, he did present a pair to Conan O'Brien on a memorable episode of Conan. Looks-wise, the model boasts an intentionally blurry print across its scaly upper to mimic how 3D effects look sans 3D glasses, and also offers up mismatched accents in cyan and red — the right shoe offers more of the former, while the left shoe displays a greater quantity of the latter. There's also a 3D glasses graphic nestled into the inner tongue, and a special print on the insole that salutes Los Angeles, where the game was held. And from a performance standpoint, this reissue will offer all the performance upgrades fans of the line have come to expect from Protro releases. The original Phylon midsole cushioning has been replaced with Nike's Cushlon material, while the standard Zoom Air unit in the forefoot is swapped out for a much larger Zoom Turbo unit, and the outsole's rubber has been re-tooled for an increased bite.Though a release date has yet to be announced and photos have yet to be revealed — the pair pictured above is an original 2011 model — the Nike Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood" will likely touch down around the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in February. It'll retail for $190 USD.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
