Bvlgari levels up with their first Watched & Wonders entry. A significant milestone for the Italian luxury house, Bvlgari enters the global watchmaking summit to showcase two new watches. The pieces perfectly exhibit the maison's dual mastery of high jewelry and fine horology in the record-breaking Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon and the avant-garde Serpenti Aeterna. Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari and now CEO of LVMH Watches, said in a statement, "We are thrilled to join Watches & Wonders for the first time, especially in a space designed to fully express our DNA as both a jewelry and watchmaking Maison. Over the past decade, we have cemented our position at the forefront of horology, seamlessly blending Swiss innovation with Italian design genius." Bvlgari's debut at Watches & Wonders is a celebration of the house under the guidance of LVMH. Over the years, their legacy has included 10 world records and 13 revolutionary movements in just 11 years. Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon The Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon is Bvlgari's 10th world record, arriving as the thinnest tourbillon ever created. Coming in at a total thickness of just 1.85mm, the watch is powered by the BVF 900 manual-wound tourbillon caliber, this 40 mm marvel beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a 42-hour power reserve. The new Ultra Tourbillon emphasizes its legacy with a skeletonized design that maximizes light diffusion. With its polished rhodium-plated features and a sunburst-finished tourbillon bridge, it offers an unique interpaly of transparency.Serpenti AeternaConsidered to be Bvlgari's boldest evolution of its iconic serpent, the design is stripped bare, without the eyes and scales. Leaving to just the geometries of the piece, this avant-garde creation is the perfect amalgamation of high jewelry and futuristic design. In line with the 2025 Year of the Snake in the lunar calendar, the Aeterna reimagines the reptilian motif as a sculptural bangle. The watch is crafted in rose gold and brilliant-cut diamonds or fully pavé-set white gold featuring oversized gems.
