The Steam Spring Sale looks great for us horror fans
Ordinarily, whenever there's a Steam sale, I like to give a general run-down on what you can expect, as well as the dates of the event. However, in this instance, I just want to give a quick shoutout to the Spring Sale, which definitely is tickling my horror fancy. I know we're in March, but if you're a fan of the more macabre and chilling side of gaming, you might want to head to Steam between now and March 20. There are some pretty stonking horror titles on sale at the moment, including new releases, such as STALKER 2 and the remake of Silent Hill 2. https://youtu.be/C-4SwzW0KoA Natch, those types of releases are par for the course, but I did notice quite a selection of less obvious games, including Still Wakes the Deep, Phasmophobia, and Amnesia: The Bunker. Let's dive a little deeper Yeah, I'm aware that Steam is probably keen to show me exactly what I want to see. But I'm here for it. I've had a look on my personal wishlist, and here's a choice selection of more indie horror games that are in the Spring Sale: Inside Pathologic 2 Blair Witch Firewatch (okay, not technically horror, but it does have some creepy vibes to it) Stories Untold Fran Bow Little Nightmares 2 The original Manhunt (remember that?) Martha is Dead Resident Evil Village Greyhill Incident Bendy and the Ink Machine. HROT I could go on, but this is just a small offering of what's currently discounted. I also saw the remake of Dead Space in the sale, and a bunch from the darlings of unsettling horror Puppet Combo, Sons of the Forest, The Walking Dead series, and loads more. Steam isn't paying me to say this, by the way. I am genuinely impressed with what's on offer in the Spring Sale in terms of horror. The real question now is: why are all these games on my wishlist and not in my library? Allow me to rectify that, posthaste!
