The residency will culminate in October 2026, when the artists will return to New York to showcase their work at The Met, highlighting the innovative intersections between historic craftsmanship and contemporary artistry.The finalists include Aspen Golann (U.S.A.), a furniture maker; Ibrahim Said (Egypt), a ceramicist and Joy Harvey (Italy), a jeweler. Their selection was based on artistic merit, originality and commitment to advancing traditional techniques while creating objects that demonstrate exceptional aesthetic and technical value.
