Nemiga Gaming, Lynn Vision Gaming and FaZe Clan have qualified for Stage 3 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
The three sides emerged victorious in their round five matches, securing a place in the third and final stage before the Playoffs with a win-to-loss record of 3-2.
Nemiga Gaming Knocks Out HEROIC

After surviving round four with wins over M80 and TYLOO, HEROIC and Nemiga Gaming faced off in a bid to stay alive in the Austin Major.
Nemiga struck first, securing a hotly-contested Mirage with a 13-11 score line and managed to carry the momentum into Dust II, racing to an eight-round lead.
HEROIC had it all to do, ending the first half with a six-round deficit to overturn. The Norwegian organisation managed to dig deep, stringing a handful of rounds together to close the gap to two. However, it was Nemiga Gaming which managed to hold strong, winning the map 13-11 and the series 2-0 to send HEROIC out of the tournament.
Lynn Vision Gaming Eliminates B8

Following TYLOO’s early elimination in Stage 3, Lynn Vision Gaming headed into Stage 3 as China’s last representative in the Austin Major.
A win against B8 would continue an impressive run of form for the Chinese team and become the first team from the country to score a top-16 finish at a Major since 2018. Dust II kicked off with some early Lynn Vision clutches, allowing the team to build a huge 10-2 lead in the first half.
B8 struggled to find any response, with Lynn Vision closing out Dust II with a convincing 13-2 win, moving a step closer towards Stage 3.
The Ukrainian side managed to mount a response on Ancient, ending the first half with a 9-3 advantage. Lynn Vision managed to reduce the deficit to 10-9, but B8 held on to win its map pick 13-9 to force a decider on Anubis.
A back-and-forth opening between the two sides eventually saw Lynn Vision’s defence hold strong, scoring an 8-4 lead at half-time. The lead continued to extend despite B8 having a numerical advantage in several defensive scenarios.
With the economy of the Ukrainian side decimated, Lynn Vision kept the ball rolling, wrapping up Anubis with a 13-7 victory.
FaZe Clan Ends MIBR’s Major Campaign
MIBR started Anubis with a clinical pistol round over FaZe Clan, a team still struggling to find its feed following the signing of Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyljev on loan. The North American organisation quickly equalised the match before extending its advantage to 8-4 in the first half. Momentum remained in favour of FaZe, which continued building the lead to win Anubis 13-4.
In the opening rounds of Ancient, FaZe quickly secured a five-round cushion, leaving MIBR on the back foot. The Brazilians, however, managed to add a few more rounds on the board, ending the first half two rounds behind.
MIBR responded with some effective strategies to break through FaZe’s defence to secure map point. Despite the best efforts of MIBR, FaZe Clan bounced back to force overtime.
S1mple’s AWP proved crucial in overtime, landing shots with expert precision to maintain its defence. FaZe Clan walked away with a 16-12 win, earning the third and final place in Stage 3.
