VALORANT Mobile to host first esports tournament in China

Riot Games and smartphone manufacturer OnePlus have announced VALORANT Mobile’s first-ever competitive tournament in China.

As part of a strategic partnership between both companies, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme will be the official device for the event. The collaboration was announced at a launch event by Jin Yibo, CEO of Teng Jing Sports, as well as Tencent’s Head of Domestic Distribution and Esports Operations for the title.

While exact dates have not been disclosed, Riot has confirmed the tournament will take place in the second half of 2025 and will be the ‘first mass event’ for VALORANT Mobile.

Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme will be the designated smartphone for an upcoming offline demo in Shanghai, scheduled for June. A pre-release open event for the game is also planned for July 2025 in Qingdao.
