B3, the Layer‑3 web3 gaming protocol built by ex‑Coinbase and Ethereum engineers, is moving beyond software to announce its own ‘self‑destructing’ gaming PC this summer.

After acquiring fast‑growing boutique builder Andromeda Insights, it is now unveiling the B3PC as a high‑performance gaming computer with crypto‑specific safeguards that digitally erases or physically destroys sensitive data at the push of a button.

The B3PC: Secure Gaming Meets Crypto Protection

The B3PC features dual protection protocols for its dedicated crypto storage drive. Users can choose between a comprehensive digital wipe or permanent physical destruction via high-voltage pulse, both ensuring complete data eradication.

A safety mechanism prevents accidental activation of these features. Additional security measures include a built-in Trezor Safe 5 hardware wallet, OS-level encryption and air-gapped offline transaction capabilities.

The system is also optimized for B3’s Base-chain ecosystem, allowing seamless integration with blockchain-based games and crypto transactions.

Owners will receive exclusive benefits, including special airdrops and token rewards through the B3 blockchain network. This approach mirrors successful models from other Web3 hardware projects, such as Solana’s Saga phone and Sui’s forthcoming gaming device with Playtron.

Preorders for the B3PC are now open, with a refundable $200 deposit required.

The device is scheduled to begin shipping in Q1 2026, with US pricing expected to range from $1,400 to $4,900, depending on configuration. Initial availability will be limited to the US market.

B3 has rapidly gained traction in the web3 gaming sector, with over 80 supported titles and more than 6 million active wallets.

The B3PC represents a strategic expansion into hardware, reinforcing the company’s goal of building an integrated Web3 gaming ecosystem.
