What is the best oil primer paint for exterior wooden windows?
I live in a home built in the 1930s/40s with original wooden windows. We were going to replace them, but since we have 25 windows, it seems easier and cheaper to just repaint them for the time being. I have read that oil-based primer is best and that I should use latex paint afterward. We live in SW Louisiana, so humidity and heat are constant. What would be the best brand of oil-based primer to use for exterior windows? I plan on DIYing some solar screens to help with the heat, but I want to redo the windows first since the paint has started to peel on them. submitted by /u/ashbash0204 [link] [comments]
