It's a large mansion full of locked doors that you seemingly can't interact with, and several switches that you can turn, but it's largely secretive for the majority of the game. The Manor is veiled in mystery, and explaining the full details about it would be a story spoiler, but it is a place that you can access from all over the world in Expedition 33. Random doorways can be found across the game's locations, and even the world map, that you can enter to find yourself in The Manor again. Within these secret rooms in The Manor, you will often find cosmetics like haircuts and new outfits for the game's playable characters. Once you're done exploring the new rooms, you can open another door that will lead you right back into the manor. Basically, finding these doors in the open world will lead you back to The Manor, and opening the doors you find within will lead you back into the main hall of The Manor, effectively unlocking all of them from within as you return.
