What time does Genshin Impact version 5.4 release?

Genshin Impact’s patch 5.4 is coming soon, bringing new characters and story with it. This version will release the new character Mizuki, a psychologist and major shareholder to an Inazuman bathhouse.

Below, we explain when Genshin Impact maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 5.4. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Genshin Impact patch 5.4.

What time does Genshin Impact go down for maintenance?

Genshin Impact will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Feb. 11 or Wednesday, Feb. 12 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

  • Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. PST for the west coast of North America
  • Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
  • Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. GMT for the U.K.
  • Feb. 11 at 11 p.m. CET for western Europe/Paris
  • Feb. 12 at 7 a.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
  • Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. AEDT for Australia/Sydney

Make sure to burn your resin before maintenance starts, if you wanted to, but remember that the new battle pass will start once the game comes up from maintenance, so you may want to hold off on spending all of it.

What time does Genshin Impact version 5.4 start?

Genshin Impact should come back from maintenance with the 5.4 version at the following times:

  • Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. PST for the west coast of North America
  • Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
  • Feb. 12 at 3 a.m. GMT for the U.K.
  • Feb. 12 at 4 a.m. CET for western Europe/Paris
  • Feb. 12 at 12 p.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
  • Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. AEDT for Australia/Sydney

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 5.4 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!

What’s new in Genshin Impact version 5.4?

This patch will have the cast return to Inazuma for an event, introducing the new five-star Anemo character, Mizuki. Notably, the new version will have a banner for Mizuki, but she’ll be added to the standard banner after version 5.5. Version 5.4 will also have reruns for Sigewinne, Furina, and Wriothesley, so if you missed out on them, you’ll have another chance to get them.

There will be a ton to do as part of the Mikawa Flower Festival, so you can expect a plethora of different game modes to play with the usual event rewards: an event-limited four-star weapon, Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and other materials you need to power up your characters.
