What's a good durable brand of water heater pan?

My water heater started leaking after 20 years, so I can't complain about that. But the aluminum pan underneath had corroded enough to also leak. It's in a crawl space, so the dampness must have gotten to it. I thought about going back with a plastic pan, but the Eastman brand that Lowes sells looks pretty flimsy. How long before it gets brittle and cracks? Are there better plastic pans out there? Or should I go back with aluminum and put it on bricks or something to get it off the ground? submitted by /u/p38-lightning [link] [comments]
