What’s the best way to safely DIY the demolition of this small playhouse?
It’s about 5x8 with a small attic space. It’s wood frame construction on what appears to be cinder block (or possibly concrete pier) foundation. The wiring is disconnected at the main house and there’s a junction box on the back of the playhouse structure. The concrete patio is not attached to the playhouse except via the ironwork you see in the front. The structure appears to have termites and mold throughout. I considered renting some sort of tractor-type machine to help with this but I’m not sure what would be best or if that will release too much mold/termites into the surrounding area. I could also just take a sledgehammer and go to town but same question, and could a sledgehammer even take down a wood structure like this? Plus, wouldn’t the roof fall down on top of me? Any ideas are appreciated. submitted by /u/programmingnate [link] [comments]
