You can finally Date Everything! in a couple months’ time
After its initial delay from February 2025, Date Everything! has finally set a new release date, and it's a lot sooner than any of us expected. While the developers initially announced a delay until June, as time went on and no details were shared, many fans expected a further delay. That's no longer the case now, though, as a release date of June 17 has been confirmed, with the game launching on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series all at the same time. https://twitter.com/DateEverything/status/1896525986675446216 As its name suggests, you explore a world in Date Everything! where anything you encounter—including objects—holds romantic potential. When you interact with a couch, a lamp, or even the toilet, you can chat with a personified anthropomorphic version of that appliance or thing and try to start a romantic relationship with them. The game features a wide variety of characters and gameplay, with some of the biggest features including: 100 fully voiced datable characters for players to romance, with some notable voice actors including Felicia Day (Supernatural, Fallout), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy 16), Critical Role star Matt Mercer, and Troy Baker (Indiana Jones and The Great Circle) all lending their vocal talents to the indie game. Branching dialogue that leads to multiple endings for each character, leading to potentially hundreds of different possibilities. Each character has its own theme with over four hours of music to listen to. 1.2 million words and 70,000 voice lines. A fully interactive 3d overworld that changes based on choices made in the playthrough. The game essentially feels like if you mixed the collecting aspect of Pokémon with characters that you can date, with a full glossary of all the items you have interacted with being viewable, and multiple options to choose from and explore. We can't wait to see how crazy the game gets, and how deep the game plays around with the meta—such as being able to date the game itself. Date Everything! will launch on June 17 for PC, Nintendo Switch , PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The post You can finally Date Everything! in a couple months’ time appeared first on Destructoid.
