Any idea what this buried concrete cap might be to? Front Yard, Colorado, USA 1950s Brick Rancher.
Any ideas what this might be? 1958 Brick Ranch House in Colorado, USA. Front corner of the house, between front door and garage door. Only thing in this corner (according to 811, and knowing where other services enter the house) would be the sewer, approximately 10 feet beneath the surface (about 2 feet under the basement slab). The wire is to a sprinkler system we are abandoning. The concrete disc appears to be about 2 inches thick. It was painted green. It's covered in sand and river rock style gravel. https://preview.redd.it/n7q3k5svwl6f1.jpg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0697af242ba828f428074789223552cbd18ceea https://preview.redd.it/h1ivf7svwl6f1.jpg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=451265e5acf237c1d80a866ddb96befd3b624575 I was going to plant a dwarf peach tree here. Now the plan is to just plant some new bushes and remove sod/gravel and landscape. Just curious if anyone had any ideas what this might be, or if it was just buried trash. submitted by /u/Powerful-Soup3920 [link] [comments]
