Any reason to not have three exhaust fans in the attic?
I recently discovered that we have two un-used attic vents. As-in, the vents are there in the top of the roof, but they have no exhaust fan installed. My 3rd and middle vent does have an exhaust fan installed to it. I'm just wondering why there are no fans installed on the other two vents, is there a reason for it or is it just the builder cutting costs? They have exhaust fans at Lowes for $119 that will fit perfectly. Is there a reason I should NOT install two more fans up there? My buddy said if I have too much suction it may suck AC from the house, which seems plausible. It gets really miserable here in July & Aug and the AC has a hard time staying under 78 degrees. I am trying to do something about it this year if I can. submitted by /u/AdPleasant1091 [link] [comments]
