Bedroom soundproofed wooden shed?
Hello, I moved to new house and sounds described by council as 'living noises' are too much for me. Area is also near loud street and high crime slum. Sound transfers way too easily from ppl walking upstairs, screaming and throwing stuff, babies etc. Do you think that building a shed in bedroom (wooden would probably be best), covering it with foam from outside, setting it on dense hospital foam mattresses, putting mattress inside it and sleeping with earplugs be fine to isolate me from all that crap?
