Building code requirements
Has anyone recently been told they have to meet future 2028 IBC requirements. I am in Mobile County Alabama and trying to get a building permit for a 12x32 shed. The shed has drawings designed by an engineer to meet 2018 National IBC requirements. I just received a “status” update (now our county uses the pizza tracker like dominos) saying the drawings needed to be updated to meet 2028 IBC. I feel like this is ridiculous to say the least and just wondering if anyone else has ran in to this problem and if there is anything we can do. submitted by /u/marsiren [link] [comments]
