The Full Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025 Schedule and Big Changes
Paris Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2025 promises to be one of the most radical in recent years, marked by designer farewells and debuts.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode announced a streamlined but intense schedule for the Fall/Winter 2025 shows, where the spotlight will be on Demna and his farewell to Balenciaga as well as Glenn Martens' debut at the helm of Maison Margiela's couture line, previously by John Galliano. This season will reflect the profound changes underway in the several influential fashion houses that are soon to redefine today's very meaning of haute couture.
Alongside the faithfuls—Chanel (which will show the last collection signed by the in-house team before the arrival of Matthieu Blazy in early October), Giambattista Valli, Zuhair Murad, and Stéphane Rolland—the Paris Haute Couture Week schedule will welcome new names and familiar labels this season. Iris Van Herpen, Robert Wun, Adeline André, and ArdAzAei are back on the calendar.
Rami Al Ali, a Syrian designer based in Dubai, will make his official debut on July 10 at 2:30 p.m. Giorgio Armani Privé will double up with two shows on July 8 at 6:30 p.m. and then at 7:30 p.m., while Elie Saab is bringing forward its latest on July 9 at 2:30 p.m., followed by Viktor & Rolf at 4 p.m.
Notable absentees from this show schedule include Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier. The Parisian fashion house will skip the season after the passing of the baton between Maria Grazia Chiuri—the Italian designer signed her exit from the French fashion house with a Cruise 2026 show in Rome—and Jonathan Anderson, recently appointed creative director of all of Dior. Gaultier will also skip a Haute Couture Week, after Duran Lantink joined as permanent creative director.

Big Changes to Watch During Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025
Demna Says Goodbye to Balenciaga
The Balenciaga haute couture show scheduled for July 9 at 12:00 will be the last one signed by Demna, who leaves the maison founded in 1919 after having rewritten its aesthetic language. His exit marks the end of an era, and the beginning of a new adventure: the Georgian designer is headed for Gucci after, and Pierpaolo Piccioli, former creative director of Valentino, will take over Balenciaga.
Glenn Martens Inaugurates a New Era at Maison Margiela
Another unmissable moment will be Martens' debut at Margiela scheduled for July 9 at 7:30 p.m. The designer, who is also remaining the creative director of Diesel despite his post at Margiela, will present the first Artisanal collection of his era. With Martens at the helm, Margiela could return to being the most radical and avant-garde house of haute couture. All eyes will be on Martens, already known for his experimental and structural approach.
