Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Roadmap Release Time
The roadmap for Call of Duty’s Season 4 update will arrive on May 21st, 2025 at 5pm BST / 12pm ET.

Once the roadmap appears, Esports Insider will update the article with the relevant information.
What to Expect from Season 4
Based on teaser trailers and information Treyarch has already revealed, the Season 4 update for Call of Duty will feature a variety of new content that could spark change among both title’s esports scenes.
The arrival of the FFAR assault rifle, the LC10 submachine gun, and the Essex Model 07 tactical rifle is bound to provide players with even more choice when building a loadout for competitive play.
How Will Season 4 Impact Esports?
Due to the existing ruleset, the additions to the weapon arsenal won’t impact the Call of Duty League (CDL), but will encourage a meta change in Warzone.
The battle royale’s Ranked mode and competitive tournaments exclusively feature Black Ops 6 weaponry, meaning the additions of the FFAR, LC10, and Essex Model 07, the perfect opportunity to adjust the meta. New weapons combined with an expected dose of weapon balancing will shake up the loadouts being used by the best players in the world.
Season 4 sees the potential arrival of the Fringe map to multiplayer. Having featured as part of the competitive map pool for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, there’s a possibility of the map returning for Black Ops 6’s Championship Weekend and the Esports World Cup.
