Cast Iron Pipe Repair
I noticed this crack in the cast iron pipe leading out of our 2nd floor bathroom. This seems to be the only section of pipe affected, but the house is fairly old. As it is ever so slightly leaking, I know it needs to be replaced. If I sand it down and use something like JB Weld, will that buy some time to get proper quotes? Am I looking at replacing just this section, or does this mean the rest is end of life as well and should be replaced ? submitted by /u/dolotala [link] [comments]
