What is the cheapest and easiest way to make these walls look better if I can’t paint them?
It’s a shed/outbuilding/whatever you want to call it. Landlord said no to my request to paint. Which just solidifies my opinion she’s completely unreasonable, but anyways. I’m considering covering the walls with white hardboard then removing at the end of my tenancy. There are so many nail holes the holes I make to screw the boards on would be indistinguishable. Any concern that I’ll trap moisture and cause mildew to grow between to hardboard and drywall? Does it even matter/ could they be mad about that given the current condition of the shed? I could wash the walls afterwards which should mostly take care of the mildew spots. Any other concerns I should consider? submitted by /u/birdieponderinglife [link] [comments]
