Caulking help

Hey everyone! The caulking around my bathtub is starting to look old and dingy. I want to go ahead and redo it but I’m noticing the stuff previously used has dried way harder(maybe it’s from it being old or a completely different product) than what I have here in the pic. Is this stuff any good to use or is there better alternatives? I’m sorry if caulking isn’t the correct word.
