Crafted World: Loewe To Release Jonathan Anderson Monograph
Jonathan Anderson permanently changed Loewe's trajectory. Leading the brand for just over a decade, the British designer transformed the quiet leather house into a global phenomenon. Under Anderson, Loewe's sales skyrocketed from €230 million in 2014 to an estimated €1.07 billion in 2024. Now, to celebrate his tenure, Loewe is releasing a monograph titled Crafted World: Jonathan Anderson’s LOEWE. The commemorative 636-page book takes a look back at Anderson's numerous iconic and impactful moments, beginning with his SS15 womenswear collection and ending with the golden feathered SS25 menswear show. Some might recognize the viral Loewe tomato that graces the cover sleeve, giving a sneak peek at the infamous moments inside. The monograph, designed by Grant Schofield, also features a forward written by Zadie Smith, a conversation between Anderson and stylist Benjamin Bruno, as well as contributions from family, friends, and behind-the-scenes collaborators of the house. Crafted World comes in a custom Loewe box featuring the brand's logo in molded copper on the corners. The monograph, which retails for $390 USD, will be available in limited quantities via pre-order on loewe.com starting March 21. However, following the book's official launch on March 27, copies will be available online, in select bookstores, and in select Loewe retailers.
