Finally Got a Used Outdoor TV Cabinet — Time to Rainproof My TV!
Hey folks! Just scored a second-hand outdoor TV cabinet off Facebook Marketplace — it’s not brand new, but the rainproofing looks decent for its age. I'm planning to upgrade my regular TV to make it more weather-resistant so I can use it outdoors without worrying about sudden rain. I’ll be doing some mods to seal up the gaps, maybe add a vent and cover for the back ports, and possibly coat the inside with some moisture-resistant material. I’ll post updates as I go. Video of the cabinet & setup process is attached. Let me know if you’ve done something similar or have any tips for outdoor-proofing a regular indoor TV! submitted by /u/NumerousHedgehog9044 [link] [comments]
