B&H Bild Expo 2025: Scenes from Day One

Are you attending? Memories and relationships are being made right now at the B&H Bild Expo! You know what I mean if you are there already; it’s uplifting. For a couple of years now, the prevailing option in our segment has been that the photography industry is waning, and these bigger convention-type shows are dead. Well, guess what—you’re dead wrong. The energy, passion, and enthusiasm of the attendees and vendors on Day One were invigorating. Yes, it’s a very different world we live in, but it’s a choice we make every day. Your passion and memories should be enough to get you out shooting again.  If you’re in the tri-state area, a short train or car ride will put you in an environment of like-minded creatives. I encourage you to go and show the industry at large that passion and creativity are very much alive in our niche. That said, many of our Photofocus readers are there. Email or send us some comments and pictures of your experience, and we will include some of them in our show coverage. Many attendees you meet won’t have heard about our site, so if you are inclined, mention our content. Long-time favorites and often the most interesting stops from Day One are Adobe, Fujifilm, Tamron, and OWC!  I believe it’s 1197, the partner pavilion shared by several smaller organizations. Say hi to Dave! (Hint Summits, it might just be a prize!) Meanwhile, if you missed B&H Bild Expo Day One, watch and scroll through what went down in the video above.
