Floor primer on tile before carpet tiles?
I have old vinyl tiles in my basement that are in bad shape. We are going to put self stick carpet tiles over them. I’m not too concerned about perfect adhesion since I will cut the tiles tight and add a baseboard. Should I put down some sort of liquid primer first?
