How best to restore drafting chair?
Hi all! I recently bought this drafting chair from facebook marketplace and didn't quite realize it was in such a rough state. I still really like it and want to clean it up and make it usable somehow. My main issue is the wood back and seat. The veneer on the back of the backrest completely peeled off and most of the seat came off as well. I was thinking it might be possible to sand, stain it to match the part of the back rest that didn't peel off and seal? The plywood doesn't seem that bad. My husband thinks I need to figure out how to apply a new veneer to it, but from what I've read online that seems very daunting. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated! submitted by /u/AdventurousIce1651 [link] [comments]
