The VALORANT Mobile closed beta in China is set to begin in June 2025, as announced by Andy Ho, Executive Producer of VALORANT, in the latest developer update.
While an exact release date is yet to be revealed, Riot has confirmed that it’s coming in the next couple of weeks.
“When we launched VALORANT back in 2020, we honestly never anticipated that in five short years we’d be on the cusp of sharing a mobile version of the game with millions of players,” Ho said.
The pre-registrations for the playtest are already open, and selected players will have the chance to try the game out before its official launch. Participants will also be able to earn exclusive player cards by completing in-game missions, which include a rare Wingman card as well.
However, before installing the game, fans in China need to make sure that the mobile device meets the following requirements:
Android:
- Processor: Snapdragon 450 / MediaTek P60 / Kirin 710 or newer
- OS Version: Android 5.0+
- RAM: 3 GB+
- Storage: 16 GB+
iOS:
- Devices Supported: iPhone 6s or newer
- iOS Version: iOS 12+
- Storage: 16 GB+
Note: These requirements were leaked by the dataminer @ValorantMobileX.
