The Scoutmaster is the one element of PEAK that leaves players in fear on an otherwise peaceful game about climbing up a mountain, but a lot of players don't know how to make him appear. The Scoputmaster is a tall, green, gangly enemy that is all but immortal and always chases down one player, but for solo players, or those who stick close to their friends, you might not even know he exists, or how to get him to spawn. So, how do you find him to unlock the game's rarest achievements? For solo players, you are only going to be able to get the Scoutmaster to spawn by using an item known as Scoutmaster's Bugle. This legendary mythical item is incredibly rare to find and has a very low rate of appearing, but if you find it, you can blow into it to max out your extra stamina at the cost of the Scoutmaster spawning. Over a minute, he will constantly hunt you down, and there is no known way to defeat him or get rid of him. Even the Blowdart does not affect him, so what is the point of it!? The second way to get the Scoutmaster to spawn is via multiplayer. If you, as a lone player, stray away from your group and reach the peak of the mountain with them still struggling, the Scoutmaster will appear to punish you and will only chase down the player who left their friends behind. Don't break rule 0, after all! Every other player will be safe, and the Scoutmaster will only hunt down either the person who blew the Bugle or got too far away from their friends. Finding the Scoutmaster and having him grab and hurl you unlocks the achievement Mentorship Badge; you also unlock the Inverted Eyes cosmetic for your character for being chased down by this zombified cryptid.
