I made a net so I don't fall down the stairs
We recently built the railing and this platform to acess the Window above the Basement Stairs and it just turned into a great hangout spot for me. I almost fell asleep a couple of times but had to always try and stop myself because I could easily just slip under the beam and wake up at the bottom of the stairs. And since I'd much rather not lay there suffering for hours or days till someone finds me I made this little net. It's secured via tiny screwed in hooks at the bottom and carabiners at the top. Probably very basic and badly executed, but I am kind of proud of myself, I've never really done any work with rope, much less tie a net with basically no instructione other than how to make the knots. It's also easily removable, if you count undoing 7 carabiners and 7 carabiner like hooks as easy submitted by /u/Zombie_Axolotl [link] [comments]
