Ideas for a small library design in our 100y speakeasy
Alrighty. So this is in the basement, where they had a sauna previously. We're turning into a library. I can just go with basic shelving but it doesn't feel right. I want to honor the history. This was where the speakeasy was back in the 1920s and I want to incorporate that into the ideas. I'm thinking of building a hidden-door book case into the door on the left and to close in the file cabinets space. There's a large walk-in closet on the left there, that i want to put our rarer books.
