Is a half-and-half metal-and-wood shed worth building?

I am building a 10' x 12' shed. I'm fairly competent on building anything. I just finished a screen in porch last summer, and have build multiple smaller sheds. All out of wood; 2x4, 2x6 joists, good foundations, metal and shingle roof, etc. My question is: Are half-and-half metal-and-wood sheds worth the while? These are sheds with an outer skeleton of metal, with slots to insert 3/8" Smartside board or OSB for the sides. The main considerations for me are the cost (a 10' x 12' half-and-half I could build for $1,500 CDN) and time. This is at my cottage. I have some weekends there but not a lot of building time. I'd opt for complete wooded even if it takes much longer if the half-and-half shed would be too flimsy. Experiences? Thoughts? submitted by /u/PEI-Wordworking [link] [comments]
