Is it possible to fix creaky wood floors in an older home?

I'm a first time house hunter and have viewed a few places with creaky floors, which I can't stand the sound of. My realtor told me it isn't possible to get rid of the sound, but I'm hoping that's not the case. So help me out Reddit, is this accurate? And if it's fixable, how much of a pain is it to do? submitted by /u/buginout [link] [comments]
