DIY question on Reverse Osmosis installation.
So my home came with a reverse osmosis drinking water system in the basement that feeds up into my kitchen. It is super old and leaking so I wanted to just replace the whole unit and do it properly. My basement walls are concrete. I am pretty sure I know how to do the job I just want to make sure before I go messing with pipes and water I have all the tools/parts I need. So here is my list in my cart right now on Lowe's: EZ-FLO 1/4in id 25ft Polyethylene tubing Sharkbite 3/8in OD push to connect x 1/4 in MIP Male adapter APEC Water Essence 5 Stage Mechanical filtration reverse osmosis Sharkbite 3/8in Push to connect polymer ball valve Hilman 2 pack .25 inch Rubber Gromit Fleming Supply 1/2inch 5 amp Variable speed Hammer Drill Skil 10 piece Assorted alloy steel Masonry Drill Bit Set for Hammer Drill Tapcon 3/16in x 1-1/4in Concrete Screws Is that all I need to do this job properly? I have tried to plan this out and look through forums and such before posting so I just wanted to double check with people who may have done this before to make sure before I go doing something I have never done before. submitted by /u/automaticg36 [link] [comments]
