June Is Looking Stacked With Exciting New LEGO Releases

LEGO is becoming more and more popular every year. Back in March of this year LEGO Group released details about its 2024 earnings showing record sales, and 2025 has shown no signs of bucking that upward trajectory so far. We've seen a lot of awesome LEGO sets targeted at adults and kids this year and seemingly every major entertainment franchise has a LEGO collab running. And now that we're almost to the summer season, LEGO has upped its game with a ton of new and exciting sets coming out in June 2025.

Below I've pulled out some of the biggest upcoming LEGO releases for June, but not everything that will be coming out next month. For a full list of upcoming sets, you can go to the LEGO website's 'Coming Soon' section and sort by newest.

Biggest New LEGO Sets Releasing in June

Of all of the new LEGO sets coming out next month, the book nooks sets are perhaps the most notable. LEGO has not previously released this type of set and we are getting a total of three new book nooks in June from different franchises. First up there's the Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook, which features Gandalf facing off against the iconic Balrog. This is the latest set in the Lord of the Rings line following the Shire set that was released back in April. There's also a Harry Potter Book Nook as well as a Sherlock Holmes version that both look really cool. These new sets were specifically designed to fit on your bookshelf among your other books, making them great gifts for readers.

In addition to the Hogwarts Express Book Nook, there are a ton of other Harry Potter LEGO sets releasing in June. The most expensive new set is the main tower component of the Hogwarts Castle, which is actually just one part of a much larger Hogwarts Castle set that is still getting new releases. There's also a really cool Monster Book of Monsters set that actually chomps.

Among all of the other usual franchise sets releasing next month, LEGO has also decided to resurrect its partership with The Simpsons. The New Krusty Burger Set is targeted specifically at adults and features 1,635 pieces and seven minifigures. It's the first new Simpsons set we've seen since all the way back in 2018, so it's a pretty big deal for fans of The Simpsons who also happen to be LEGO collectors. It isn't cheap, however. At $209.99 it's one of the most expensive LEGO sets you can buy in the June 2025 lineup.

Should you preorder at Amazon or LEGO direct?

Currently there are only a few new LEGO sets that are up for preorder, but these are available at both Amazon and LEGO. Both websites are good places to buy LEGO for different reasons, and this is especially true for preorders. Amazon offers a preorder price guarantee that ensures you get the absolute best price for that set if a discount arrives before the release date. Alternatively, the LEGO store will offer you a free gift with your purchase and LEGO points for Insiders.

For some of the sets that you can't preorder ahead of time, like the Krusty Burger set, you may be able to get it earlier if you purchase from LEGO directly and are signed up for the LEGO Insiders program. LEGO Insiders will sometimes get access to popular new sets earlier than everyone else.
