LED Under-cabinet Light Not Working, Tester Indicates Power
I am replacing two fluorescent fixtures under my kitchen cabinets with linkable 18" LED fixtures from Commercial Electric. It was, I thought, a pretty simple connection -- disconnect the Romex from the fluorescent system, pull it into the LED base, plug in and mount. Not so, apparently, because I turned the breaker back on and nothing. When I use my non-contact tester it shows that everything has power from the where the Romex comes out of the wall to the internal connection and all along the linking cable to the plug. I tried plugging the linking cable into the other fixture and that won't light, either. I'm stumped here. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/warrenjames [link] [comments]
