Mattel x G-SHOCK Collaborate on Limited-Edition Barbie-Inspired GMA-S110BE Watch
Mattel has partnered up with G-SHOCK for a limited-edition GMA-S110BE timepiece inspired by Barbie.Dressed in Barbie’s hallmarked bright pink, the timepiece features a monochromatic design from case to band. Crafted from G-SHOCK’s bio-based resin, a deeper pink hue is spotlighted on the analog-digital dial, where the hands are reimagined in gear shapes and heart motifs — paying homage to Barbie’s world.The references don’t stop there. On the integrated strap, both Barbie’s logo as well as its iconic Silo Head can be spotted. The emblematic silhouette is also reiterated on the watch’s caseback, further signaling its collaborative status.On a technical note, the watch is geared with all of the usual model’s usual functionalities, such as world time, stopwatch, multiple measuring modes, timer, alarms and calendar, in addition to its tough resistance to shock and magnetism.The watch's original design is echoed in its special packaging.
