Moving washer and dryer

The washer and dryer are currently in the unfinished basement of the townhome my bf and I own. While it works fine it’s pretty dark and dingy and where we keep the cat litter so not our preferred space. However there is a hall closet right outside the primary bedroom that seems to have hookups for washer and dryer and we’d like to move them but I’m slightly concerned about the dryer vent and want to make sure that it’s clean and venting properly since we’re in a town home and it’s basically in the middle of the house Is there a way to check the vent ourselves or if there’s specific tools needed would it be cheaper to hire a plumber just for this one time? Am I overthinking it entirely? Any other thoughts or advice would also be appreciated! submitted by /u/mcmcclos [link] [comments]
